By SONQO is a Peruvian ethical fashion brand born from the heart of the Andes.

Founded in 2016 by Jeannie, a Peruvian designer passionate about her culture and its millenary craftsmanship, the brand celebrates the artistry of local communities through timeless knitwear made with alpaca wool and organic cotton (USDA, GOTS certified).

Each piece is handcrafted in collaboration with Peruvian artisans and small workshops using both hand knitting and traditional manual machines. This allows us to preserve ancestral techniques while promoting a sustainable livelihood for artisan families.

At By SONQO, we believe in slow fashion, fair trade, and sustainability. Our materials are natural and biodegradable, and in many cases, we use natural dyes to honor the earth and reduce our environmental impact.

Our mission is to share the warmth, tradition, and beauty of Peruvian craftsmanship with the world — creating garments that tell stories of heritage, connection, and respect for nature.
